Sustainable Forestry commitment
By entrusting us with your transport, you help the forest grow:
For every 100 metric tons transported, we commit to planting one pine tree on your behalf.
A tree nursery to help offset CO2 emissions!

Aware of and attentive to its environmental impact, SELI is developing a tree nursery with you.
Let’s participate in the reforestation of the Aquitaine region as part of a joint and sustainable approach.
This operation is conducted in partnership with the PGS – BEYNEL Group.
238,000 hectares of forest were destroyed by Storm Martin in 1999, including nearly 40,000 hectares in the Médoc region.
Nearly 30% of the Landes Forest was significantly damaged by the strong winds which affected the region.
Storm Klaus caused widespread damage across the South-West of France on Saturday 24th January 2009. As they had just recovered from Storm Martin, foresters saw their cluster pines and other species severed or uprooted once again.
An estimated 60% of the Landes Forest was destroyed: 45 million m³ of felled timber compared with 32 million in 1999. 39 million m3 of timber was destroyed in the Landes de Gascogne forest alone. Storm Klaus therefore brought down four times the annual harvest.
Protecting the Landes Forest is an environmental as well as economic necessity; our Sustainable Forestry Commitment was born out of this indisputable fact.
